Hello! Thanks for your interest in my work! Below you will find some of the most frequently asked questions. If you can't find an answer, feel free to email me at luciapiantonitattoo@gmail.com.

How do I get a turn?

I only give quotes and book appointments through the booking form on my website. The form will ask you for all the information I need to quote the job. If you can't find the form on my IG or website, it means the agenda is closed. I do not give appointments by email or Instagram messages.

Do you have a waiting list?

With all the forms that I receive at the moment I open the agenda, a waiting list is created: I contact them within 2 months.

When will I receive an answer?

Responses are sent via email. It can take me up to two months, since I spend most of the day tattooing and not at my computer. Fortunately, the number of people interested in my work is high, and I take the time to give a detailed answer to each one. I thank you for the patience for the wait!! Also make sure to check your spam.

What information is necessary to quote?

The form requests: personal data, description of the idea and style of the tattoo, area of the body, size in centimeters, image references, your time availability. The clearer the idea, the more accurate the budget will be. The references do not have to be exact, but they are necessary to understand what you are looking for.

Are all projects considered?

All the forms receive a response but I give priority to those that are closest to my style and artistic search. I do not tattoo lettering, mini tattoos, minimalist designs, geometric dsigns or mandalas. If what you want to do is very different from what I do, I will recommend you to other colleagues who work in that style.

Can I get several tattoos in the same shift?

Yeah! In this case you can tell me all the tattoos you want to get in the same form. The price will be a little lower than making them separately, since we use the same supplies/work materials.

Can I quote a tattoo appointment for several people?

Yes, as long as the design is the same, you can send a single form and clarify that it is for several people. Otherwise, they will have to fill out different forms.

Do you work with a deposit/sign?

Yes, to reserve I ask for a deposit, that is non refundable. The deposit is deducted from the total amount of the tattoo on the appointment.

What happens if I have to reschedule my shift?

If for any reason you need to reschedule your shift, don't hesitate to write to me. I only ask that you notify me at least 72 hours in advance so that I have enough time to fill the shift and we can keep the deposit (the deposit is held once). The down payment is not refundable for cancellations and/or no-shows.

Do you tattoo only your own designs?

Yes, I tattoo only my designs and in my own style, taking only the ideas attached in the form as a reference. I don't copy tattoos from the internet/Pinterest or from other artists!

How does the design process work?

Generally I wait for you on the day of the shift with a sketch that I put together one or two days before the date, taking into account all the information provided through the form (and via mail once we get in touch). I also ask you to send me a photo of the area of the body where the tattoo will go, so I can design directly on the photo. i create all the designs on an iPad, with a drawing app.

Can I see the design in advance?

The design is shown at the start of the turn, not before. But don't worry: the result will be within what you see on my IG profile, since that's my style! I believe that those who seek me out for a tattoo do so because they know my style and trust that they will like what I propose. I make sure to schedule appointments with enough time to make any changes if necessary (it is very important to me that you are 100% happy with your tattoo!). In case of larger/complex projects such as sleeves, we can coordinate a design meeting.

Can I change the idea/size/location of my tattoo on the day of the appointment?

In case you want to make significant changes in the design or idea, I ask you to notify me in advance (at least I would need to know it 48 hours in advance) and not the same day of the shift, since this can modify the budget or length of the appointment. On the day of the shift we can look for the best location/area for your tattoo, but the ideal is that you have the location almost defined. There are areas of the body that are more complex to tattoo due to the different textures of the skin. We can also try a couple of alternative sizes, but do not vary more than 1-2 cm from each other. If there are significant changes in size: that is, many cm larger than originally agreed, we may not have enough time for your appointment and may have to reschedule or schedule multiple sessions. On the contrary, if it is many centimeters smaller than the size agreed by email, the budget sent by email is maintained since I calculated the session time for that size. This is why it is essential that the measure is well taken when budgeting.

Is there any area of the body that you do not tattoo?

Yes, I do not tattoo hands, feet, or face. Fine lines don't usually look good in these areas.

Do you do covers?

At the moment I am not booking cover ups. The style of tattoos I do is not usually suitable for covering up other tattoos. I also do not continue work by other tattoo artists, since it is very difficult for me to adapt to the style of the other artist, and is a big limitation when it comes to designing.

Do you tattoo minors?

No, I only tattoo people over 18 years old.

Does it hurt to get a tattoo?

This depends on the area where you want your tattoo and varies greatly from person to person. It especially hurts in areas like ribs, chest, feet, elbows, groin and head - the skin in these areas is softer and more fragile and that's why it hurts. The other areas are less painful, but you will surely feel something. Nothing you can't handle, and I'll do my best to make you feel good throughout the entire process.

Where do you work?

I usually work at Bioma Tatuajería, a private studio that we created in 2019 together with Emilia Torres and Vika Davico. The studio is in Nueva Córdoba, Córdoba Capital, Argentina. I'll send you the address and instructions when confirming the turn with the password. We do not accept visits without an appointment.

I also travel as a GUEST ARTIST all over the world!

How do I prepare for the shift?

Come with comfortable clothes, which are suitable for the tattoo location and easy to run. Better if it's dark colors (so we avoid staining it). We're also going to be taking photos after the tattoo is finished, so bring something nice for the photo. Avoid alcohol consumption 24 hours before the shift, and rest the night before.

Prepare your skin: drink a lot of water, and hydrate the area to be tattooed with moisturizer. If the skin is very dry it is more difficult to work with. Skin reacts best when it is hydrated, both during the tattooing process and during healing.

Protect the area to be tattooed from the sun with a factor of +50 (it is not recommended to tattoo tanned/distressed skin as they do not heal well).

Do not schedule later commitments, so we work calmly and without rush.

The healing process of the tattoo takes between 20-30 days (keep in mind that a tattoo is a wound, and as such it has to heal). During that time you must have special precautions regarding the sun, physical activity, swimming pool, etc. I will explain them to you in depth on the day of the shift.

Don't forget to bring your ID!

What are the Post-tattoo care?

I am going to explain these cares to you on the day of the shift, and you can also find them on the web, in the "Aftercare" section.
